A support group for people affected by someone else's addiction

About us

  • We are relatives of addicts who have come together to care, share and support each
other in our recovery from the effects of someone else's addiction.
  • We share experiences in the knowledge that we can help to sustain our recovery.
  • We organise social activities to create fun, laughter and personal development.
  • We support the work of 1NE Relatives Service.

What do we do?

  • Within all our activities we support each other with understanding and without
    judgement or criticism.
  • We go for walks, picnics, theatre trips, meals out, visit places of interest and various craft activities.
  • We organise workshops that in the past have included:
    • Laughter workshops
    • My mind matters
    • Aromatherapy
    • Relaxation & Meditation
  • We have a formal constitution and management committee who meet bi-monthly.
  • A group of membership volunteers meet every six weeks to plan a social calendar.
  • All members are welcome to attend any of the above meetings and their input would be welcomed.
